When you join GPP software e-Groups, we ask for your name, email address, postal address and telephone number. Once you join or Login to e-Groups, you are not anonymous to us.
GPP Software collects the information for the use of the administrators of the groups you may join. This is so that group administrators know who is is their groups. By creating and maintaining a group, group administrators agree that they will not disclose data to others. Non-compliance will result in instant closure of a group by GPP Software.

We do not disclose (whether by the e-Groups system or any other means), sell or rent personal details to anyone or any organisation and we do not take part in 'spamming'.
It is recommended that members do not supply personal details in e-mails sent to a group because they will be sent to all group members.
GPP Software e-Groups does not disclose e-mail addresses in messages sent to groups - only members's names are indicated.
We will however, disclose information if requested to do so by subpoenas, court orders or legal processes.

Updating your Personal Information
With the exception of their name (an identifying key), a member of GPP Software e-Groups can at any time view on-line the information which is held about them in 'My Options' and they can correct it for themselves. To change a name, a member must request the group administrator to change it for them. The details are common to all groups to which a member belongs.
You can also change various options and preferences within the system.
GPP Software e-Groups is entirely 'opt in' and you can resign from any group at any time using the 'Resign from Group' option.

Password Protection and Security
Your GPP Software e-Groups membership information is password-protected for your privacy and security.
Personal details are gathered when joining e-Groups to discourage the use of false/pseudo names.
The system requires that a member joins a group before they can view group messages or send messages. In this way, messages in a group are not available for public (non-group members) viewing and it is not possible to 'bounce' messages through e-groups for spamming purposes.

Breaches of Privacy
Breaches of privacy should be notified to GPP Software immediately so that appropriate action can be taken, but members should be aware that the very use of e-mail message groups is not appropriate for those who wish to remain anonymous.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
GPP Software may change this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes we will notify you by posting an appropriate message to each group.
